BUILDING ON SUCCESS THROUGH SYNERGY
Over the centuries, Solihull School has flourished, becoming one of England’s great schools thanks to the vision of its leaders. From 1995 to 2015, key developments like the George Hill Building, the Bushell Hall and the David Turnbull Music School have created an extraordinary environment for our students, supporting the holistic education central to our reputation. Since arriving in 2023, I’ve listened to pupils, parents, and staff, and agreed on three priorities: to make Solihull School more academic, confident and innovative. To build on this success, we’ve set aside £1 million for new projects, needing to fundraise for the remaining two-thirds. The Solihull Synergy Campaign aims to unlock potential through the synergy of two key initiatives: Innovative study spaces: A new library to triple usage, foster independent study and provide multi-purpose meeting rooms & Dynamic fitness facilities: A new gym to support fitness, strength and recreational activities.

RECONNECT WITH THE SCHOOL
When we meet each other in person, it will be my pleasure to tell you more about some of the ways in which we are powering forwards on all fronts.
You may also be interested to hear that the school is ambitious for its buildings and there are plans for twin fundraising campaigns which support both academic study and sport. More details to follow…
I encourage you to reconnect with the school. I hope that you will create a profile and keep it up-to-date and make use of this platform to share your stories and to stay in touch with thousands of Old Silhillians, Saint Martin’s Old Girls and others.
Please feel free to contact me directly or to schedule a time to come in and see us on the Warwick Road or Saint Martin’s campus.
