A BIG WELCOME FROM THE SCHOOL'S HEADMASTER

You will be pleased to hear that Solihull School is in good heart. The community here is as strong as ever and it is not restricted to current pupils. The purpose of this network is to enable former pupils, former parents and former members of staff to stay in touch with the school and with each other.

There are thousands of individuals who have become members of this network over recent years and I encourage all those who would consider themselves as friends of the school to become involved. The Solihull Alumni Network organises reunions, social events and visits to the school. There are also countless other opportunities, for example: contributing to the school’s programme of careers education; forming new social connections of your own; supporting the bursary fund; or joining with the school in its service to the wider Solihull community beyond the school gates.

CHARLES FILLINGHAM, Executive Headmaster

THE SCHOOL HAS SET THREE KEY PRIORITIES. WE AIM TO BECOME INCREASINGLY:

ACADEMIC AND AMBITIOUS

CONFIDENT AND WELL-KNOWN

INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE

RECONNECT WITH THE SCHOOL

When we meet each other in person, it will be my pleasure to tell you more about some of the ways in which we are powering forwards on all fronts.

You may also be interested to hear that the school is ambitious for its buildings and there are plans for twin fundraising campaigns which support both academic study and sport. More details to follow…

I encourage you to reconnect with the school. I hope that you will create a profile and keep it up-to-date and make use of this platform to share your stories and to stay in touch with thousands of Old Silhillians, Saint Martin’s Old Girls and others.

Please feel free to contact me directly or to schedule a time to come in and see us on the Warwick Road or Saint Martin’s campus.
