OSA OVER 60s LUNCHES
Something rather special happens for Old Silhillians when they reach their 7th decade – they have the opportunity to attend the OSA Over 60s lunches! The Over 60s is not so much a section or club but more a biannual gathering of those who have had the privilege many decades earlier of being educated at Solihull School. The idea, of course, is to offer an opportunity for anyone who is eligible to catch up with old friends who, in some instances, have not been together since the day they left over 40 years earlier.
The Over 60s hold two very popular and well attended (about 100 people) lunches in May and October every year.
The lunches are held at the Silhillians Sports Club and can roll on into the late afternoon.
