It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the recent death of David Cox (Pole 1944 - 1949). He died on the 4th April 2024.
David was President of the Hockey Club in our Golden Jubilee season of 1979 - 1980 and was an Honorary Life Member of the club, serving on the committee in various roles for 26 years. He was also a member of the Old Silhillians Squash Club and Golf Society, and in 1983 he was President of the Old Silhillians Association.
David's funeral is on Friday May 10th 2024, 11.30am at St James Church in Shirley, then Robin Hood crematorium at 12.30. The wake will be at the Silhillians Sports Club.
