Solihull School Digital Archives

Explore Solihull School’s rich history through photos, records and stories from 1560 to today, regularly updated with new discoveries from our community.

We’re pleased to share Solihull School’s Digital Archives, available on Solihull Community. Covering our history from 1560 through to today, the collection brings together photographs, documents and records that tell the story of generations of Old Silhillians.

From the School’s early days at Malvern House to the move to School House in 1882 and beyond, the archives give a real sense of how the School has grown and changed over time, capturing the people, traditions and moments that have shaped our community. Built up carefully over many years and now digitised, these materials are preserved and easy for everyone to explore. We are grateful to the many Old Silhillians who have generously contributed items, helping to bring the collection to life.

The archives are updated as and when new material becomes available to us, so there is always more to discover.

Whether you’re looking back on your own time at the School or simply interested in its history, we hope you enjoy exploring and discovering something new.

👉 If you’ve already joined Solihull Community, log in here and select the Archive tab at the top right. If you haven’t yet signed up, you can join Solihull Community here to access the Archives.
