News from Solihull Alumni |
On Friday 6th June, London played host to a special gathering of the Class of 1995, with a few welcome guests from other years too.
Former students from London and beyond, including some who travelled from overseas, came together three decades after leaving school. It was a great evening filled with laughter, stories and plenty of reminiscing over a drink or two.
Organised by Rob Love (Pole 1984–1995), the reunion was a resounding success. Reflecting on the night, Rob said, “Friday was great fun. There were smiles all round and so many lovely messages before and after the event, including some touching video messages from those around the globe who were unable to make it". "It’s amazing how strong those bonds remain after all these years, and a real reminder of the quality friendships made at school.”
Ahead of the event, the organisers reconnected with over 100 alumni from that year, paving the way for easily organising more get-togethers and informal catch-ups in future.
For everyone there, it was an evening of genuine connection and renewed community spirit, a night to remember, and proof that the ties formed at school truly stand the test of time.
