Almost 100 Old Silhillians gathered at the Silhillians Sports Club, on Thursday 8 May, for the first Over 60s lunch of 2025.

After convivial welcome drinks and a wonderful meal, Peter Thomas (Shenstone 1966 - 1973) welcomed everyone to the event and introduced Sean Morgan, Head of the Senior School, who gave an update on the school, including the latest House points totals ahead of the final half term’s events (to much celebration or consternation – depending on the House of the luncheon guest concerned!). He also expressed his continued gratitude to the alumni for their continued support. He also introduce Deborah Smith, the school’s new Director of External Relations, who has taken up leadership of Alumni Relations following Lucy Lunt’s retirement, as well as the work of Marketing and Admissions. 

The group welcomed several Old Sils attending their first Over 60s event, including OSA chairman Peter Davies, with each entertaining the room for a minute with their potted life story since leaving school.
