We were delighted to hear that our former Chair of Governors Mark Hopton (Shenstone 1968 - 1973) has been awarded an MBE in the Kings birthday honours list for his services to education, healthcare and charities in the West Midlands.
This is richly deserved for all Mark’s tireless work for Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham City University and of course, for Solihull.
