The launch of The Loynton Lecture Series

On Tuesday 5th December 2023, academic scholars, staff, governors and Old Silhillians joined our Head of Academic Enrichment, Dr Eagleton, in the Kent Library on our Warwick Road campus for the launch of The Loynton Lecture Series. Our academic talks have recently been named after our School Archivist Mr John Loynton, and Mr Loynton led the first lecture this week on 'The history of Christmas at Solihull'.

At the end of the lecture The Headmaster, Charles Fillingham thanked John and awarded him a colours blazer in recognition of his services to the school community.
