Executive Headmaster meets Benefactors of the School

Over the last six weeks The Headmaster, Charles Fillingham and his wife, Clare, have been busy meeting as many members of the school community as possible. On Friday night they were delighted to host a reception for all those who have so generously supported the school over the last five years.

After welcoming guests in to The David Turnbull Music School all were invited in to The Jill Godsall Recital Room, to hear an address from the Headmaster, view a clip from the new Silhillian Fund Bursary Video and enjoy a musical interlude performed by two of our LVI pupils.

Mr Fillingham warmly thanked all those who have supported the bursary fund and the new war memorial. He was particularly pleased to welcome two of our major benefactors and Patrons of The Silhillian Fund, Jonathan Wearing (Fetherston 1964 - 1970) and Ben Perry (Jago 1985 - 1992) with his wife Christina. Ellie Ajao (Jago 2013 - 2018) has kindly agreed to join them along with Mark Hopton (Shenstone 1968 - 1973) who is to become President of the school’s newly formed 1560 Society, for all those who have pledged to leave a bequest to the school. More information on this will follow shortly.
