Sean Morgan has made an extraordinary impact on this school as a sportsman, a teacher and a leader. We want to mark his dedication to the school and his commitment to young people by establishing in perpetuity The Sean Morgan Sports Bursary Fund. We can think of no better way of honouring the role he has played in so many young lives.

We have had a great response to this campaign and we are so grateful to all who have already made a contribution. However, we now just need another hundred of our community to pledge as little as £10 a month for five years to achieve a transformational gift. Such generosity will enable a pupil of exceptional sporting ability, but who lacks the usual means to access the school, the opportunity to benefit from all Solihull has to offer.

From PE teacher to Director of Sport, Deputy Head, and now Head of the Senior School, Sean has given over 30 years of dedicated service to Solihull. He is held in high esteem and great affection by so many current and former pupils, and their families. There seems no better way to mark his contribution than by establishing a VI Form Sport Bursary in his name. It is gift to honour him and a fitting legacy for future generations and the school.

Click here for more details of how you can contribute. All are warmly invited to a celebratory event on Saturday 24 September to mark the foundation of the bursary and celebrate the sporting life of the school.
