On Saturday 14th June we are delighted to offer an opportunity for all members of the wider school community to come together to sing Vivaldi’s wonderfully joyous ‘Gloria’. Some of you may have sung this piece before, however we would encourage and welcome you to join us even if you have not previously sung this piece.

The schedule for the afternoon is:

13:45 arrival

14:00 rehearsal

15:00 break (tea and coffee provided)

15:30 rehearsal continues

16:30 informal performance

c. 17:00 depart

This really is for everyone – we would love to have a mix of current pupils, staff, family members, Old Silhillians and the wider community; the more the merrier!

Callum Alger will direct the massed choir, and we are blessed with the services of Mr Ashley Wagner, Assistant Head of Music at Birmingham Cathedral, as our organ accompanist. Soloists will be drawn from our Chamber Choir, staff, and ex-pupils.
