The extraordinary contribution Jill Godsall has made to the musical life of the school will be recognised on Saturday 25 January 2020 when we re-name the recital room in her honour.

We would be delighted if as many of her former pupils, staff and friends could join us to celebrate the opening of The Jill Godsall Recital Room.
Jill joined the school in 1958 when she was asked by former Director of Music, David Turnbull, to teach piano. In the early 1960s Jill became a full time Music Teacher. She has looked after generations of pupils, some of whom have gone on to pursue distinguished careers in music.
In 1999 she decided to slow down a little, relinquish her fulltime post and become a visiting piano teacher. Jill finally retired in 2014, serving over 60 glorious years!
For all of our Solihull School Community who have fond memories of Jill we would love you to join us for this very special opening.
